The GAH Flexi-temp allows two insulated compartments to be heated or cooled simultaneously giving fully flexible and more precise temperature in either compartment. Previously, it was possible to heat or cool the compartments sequentially, but you would have to prioritise the temperature in one compartment and the compressor would work continually to balance temperature in both compartments.
The Flexi-temp system eliminates the need to prioritise compartments. It allows you to heat or cool by absorbing and dissipating heat from any of its three heat exchangers, giving up to 3.5KW of heating or cooling.
Flexi-temp was developed initially for transporting Pharmaceuticals, which require differing temperatures for all products, however, because it can heat or cool from 25°C to -25°C in either compartment, it is ideal for specialist couriers and spot hire companies.

Applications & Compatabilities

Please note these guides are offered as an approximation only. For confirmation and a more detailed quotation, please contact one of our application specialists.

The FlexiTemp was initially designed for transporting pharmaceuticals, which could require any combination of temperatures in each compartment, for example, one at 5°C and the other at 20°C. Specialist couriers where goods of different temperature can be delivered and collected and which may require temperatures to be altered throughout the delivery run. It is also useful for spot hire companies where any temperature range could be required. Home delivery vehicles traditionally cool and freeze but, if an element of heat is required then a FlexiTemp would be ideal.

The FlexiTemp has been independently tested and shown to be able to cool in ambient temperatures of 40°C and provide heat in ambients as low as -20°C making it GDP compliant.

The FlexiTemp is suitable for medium to large panel vans (for example Iveco Daily, Ford Transit or Mercedes Sprinter). It can also be used on 3.5 – 7.5 tonne box body vans. Call GAH to discuss your application.
