Large Panel Van Road Only
Introducing The Large Panel Van Unit
The SA350 range of refrigeration systems from GAH offers various options for operators requiring temperature control during the delivery of chilled or frozen goods in large suitably insulated panel vans where mains electric standby is not required.
The stylish aerodynamic design utilises plastic covers for the condenser with an optional evaporator making this one of the most efficient and flexible units in its class.
A vehicle engine driven compressor powers the units. Compressor mount kits are available for a wide variety of vehicles.
An in-cab controller with digital display monitors and controls the temperature and defrosting whilst providing a constant load space temperature readout.

Features & Benefits
Chill models are easy to operate with off cycle defrost. Perfect for delivering chilled packaged goods.
Freeze models are easily set to the desired temperature as low as -25°C. All functions are fully automatic.
Approximately 62 kg installed making this unit the lightest in it's class and allowing the operator to carry more product.
The SA350 range is is supplied with the slim twin fan plastic evaporator as standard. The twin fan metal evaporator is available as a no cost option.
Dual evaporator systems are used for fixed freeze/chill compartments with an evaporator for freeze section and a second evaporator for the chill section avoiding cross contamination of air from one compartment to another. Talk to a GAH applications specialist for assistance in selected these systems.
The SA350F model with defrost can be programmed to run at a specific temperature for instance, set to 5°C and if the ambient is high the unit will cool down to 5°C but, if the ambient is low the unit will heat to 5°C.
Whilst cooling the load space, moisture in the air collects on the evaporator coil. GAH chill units have an automatic, hourly off cycle defrost to keep the coils free of frost. GAH freeze units have hourly, automatic and fast reverse cycle defrost for closer temperature control which allows the unit to cool for more minutes per hour.

Applications & Compatabilities
Please note these guides are offered as an approximation only. For confirmation and a more detailed quotation, please contact one of our application specialists.
The SA350C is a chill only system, the SA350F is for frozen applications or chill applications where a full defrost is required. The choice can be affected by the product to be carried and the number of door openings per working day and the way the system is used. If in doubt, please talk to a GAH Applications specialist for clarification.
The following assumptions have been made:
- Ambient temperature 30°C
- Chilled ‘K’ Factor is 0.7 W/M²/°C
- Frozen ‘K’ Factor is 0.4 W/M²/°C
- Drop duration is 3-5 minutes
