Introducing GAH FlexiTemp and VLA system
GAH have designed systems specifically for the transportation of goods requiring more accurate temperatures in high and low ambient conditions.
The Flexi-temp allows two insulated compartments to be heated or cooled simultaneously giving fully flexible and more precise temperature in either compartment. It has been independently tested in high ambients (40°C) and low ambients (-20°C) making it ideal to comply with GDPR for Pharmaceutical products. It allows you up to 3.5 kw of heat or cooling by absorbing and dissipating heat from any of its three heat exchangers.
The temperature range it can maintain is from 25°C to -25°C so is also ideal for specialist couriers. It is mainly used with standby to pre-condition the load space but can be specified without.

Units specified with standby will benefit from a high capacity hermetically sealed scroll compressor with built in motor. It is quiet, reliable and efficient with no drive belts to tension.
Lightweight - approximately 110 kg installed with standby (Non-Standby approximately 90 kg). It can be fitted directly to the van roof or straight onto a box van with no additional brackets.
The Flexi-temp is fully invertible: it can heat/heat, heat/cool, cool/heat or freeze/freeze in any combination in a suitably insulated vehicle (anywhere between 25°C to -25°C in ambients ranging from -20°C to 40°C).
Independent tests have shown these systems are capable of absorbing heat from very low ambients (-20°C) and dissipating it into the load space eliminating the need for additional costly heating systems. Units were also tested in ambients of 40°C with no issues.

The FlexiTemp is available with and without standby for multi temperature applications It can provide heating or cooling in two compartments. It is available with or without standby.
The VLA system is designed for low or high ambient conditions for a single compartment.
The following assumptions have been made:
- Ambient temperature up to 40°C
- Chilled ‘K’ Factor is 0.7 W/M²/°C
- Frozen ‘K’ Factor is 0.4 W/M²/°C
- Drop duration is 3-5 minutes
