We are hugely proud of our British design and engineering heritage. We manufacture, test, and support our full range of transport refrigeration solutions from our extensive ISO 9001 production facility in the East of England. All GAH transport refrigeration systems blend sympathetically with the aesthetics of the vehicle whilst retaining the functionality and performance essential for such a vital link in the cold chain.

Our latest systems are not only the lightest in class but also highly efficient, reducing our customer’s costs and increasing their payload capacity. We undertake rigorous component inspection and testing as part of our internal quality control systems. We are also VCA audited with all GAH systems designed and built to European Community Whole Vehicle Type Approval (ECWVTA) standards.

We build a wide range of refrigeration systems to suit the needs of commercial vehicles from car-derived vans through to 18 tonne tucks and everything in between. We produce systems for road only use, as well as systems that include mains powered overnight standby refrigeration capability.

New heat-cool systems have also now been developed and introduced, in particular for the transportation of pharmaceutical products. The systems enable vehicles to heat and/or cool two compartments simultaneously, maintaining temperatures from -25°C to 25°C in ambient temperatures as high as 40°C and as low as -20°C. Our experienced team will ensure the most appropriate refrigeration system is recommended to match the specific needs of the customer depending on the type of vehicle, load space, drop frequency and period of operation.

GAH systems are installed by an extensive network of qualified installation specialists who work with the vehicle converters to prepare the vehicle to the customers specific requirements.

We provide an extensive range of additional support for all our systems including specialist unit application advice, easy spare parts identification and system history. For fleet customers our new online customer portal allows fleet managers to log on to their own personalised page to simply and efficiently monitor and track the history of their refrigerated vehicles and their projected service dates from a central point, keeping on top of usage, performance and maintenance of each vehicle.

Our Nationwide fleet of service engineers are equipped with the latest GPS fleet management equipment and PDAs enabling fast and accurate data transfer to head office. All appointments and updates are confirmed by email or text to ensure all concerned are fully informed at all stages.

We strive to complete all jobs on the first visit with work being carried out on the customer’s premises. We equip each engineers van with comprehensive stock of refrigerants, specialist service equipment and spare parts which can be tailored to the systems in their area thus maximising up-time and eliminating the need for a vehicle to attend a depot and queue for either routine maintenance or remedial work.
